I'm pretty sure no tier list has ever been made before in cellular automata. Let's create one? (Yes, I know tier lists usually have an S tier, but there isn't enough tiers to include one. This tier list is based on how well patterns are named, in response to this. Of course unnamed patterns (like 25P3H1V0.1) and patterns whose names are based off the discoverer's name or directly describe the object (like Tanner's p46 or 2-engine Cordership) will not be included.

NOTE: If I don't understand a name it will automatically go into the D/F tier and I will include an asterisk next to its name. Please tell me if they have some sort of deeper meaning.

NOTE2: The patterns that I think are very common and important will have a ^ next to its name.
