Talk:6 bits

the "6 bits" page says in text that it's an oscillator of period 75, but in the "box" the period is listed as 61! I don't know how to correct this.

There's no RLE file for this pattern so I can't conveniently check the period, but how can it possibly be period 61 if it's made of pentadecathlons with period 15? So I changed it to 75. MikeP 23:22, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

Actually, there is an rle and the period is 75:

x = 40, y = 23, rule = B3/S23

Year of discovery?

The info box says '2004', but the oscillator is included in the collection here (http://radicaleye.com/DRH/stamps.html) and the description says "75.0.0 "glider shuttle III" [RTW 9/84]" (at least I think they are the same oscillator)? Lewis (talk) 14:16, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
