Other small period 5 oscillators
There seem to be other period 5 oscillators that are smaller than this one that aren't listed on this page. For example:
x = 11, y = 11, rule = B3/S23 5bo$4bo2bo$bo2bo2bo$obobobob2o$bo2bo2bo$4bo5bo$5b5o2$7bo$6bobo$7bo!
Note that not all patterns are included in LifeWiki (generally only the smallest, first, or otherwise noteworthy), so other pattern collections should be consulted when making claims such as this. Nathaniel 16:55, 14 June 2011 (CDT)

I think that this pattern has the highest known volatility of any period 5 oscillator. Further review is needed to make the claim. Extensible oscillators should only be compared in their miminal state.--Scot Ellison 08:33, 2 July 2011 (CDT)
