- Those characters you're using really don't come out looking good at all, at least on my system -- it's really hard to tell what pattern you're trying to illustrate, when you don't include RLE also. Those block characters overlap each other vertically in a very strange way. The old standard ASCII periods and X's or O's or whatever would be much better, especially since they can be pasted straight into Golly.
