Glasses is a period 2 oscillator with a number of ways of stabilizing the edges. It features two covers and two snakes acting as induction coils.
A 17-glider synthesis is known for a stator variant of this oscillator which is rotationally symmetric and uses two houses instead of snakes for stabilization.[1]
