User talk:Gameoflifeboy/Flip flop X
Is there a source for the name "flip flop" being used to describe these oscillators anywhere? They are already described in some depth on the 2x2 page, and there is a flip flop of any length 4n, where n is a natural number, so the remark at the end of the page seems a little odd to me. 22.214.171.124 20:51, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
The truth about "Flip flop X"
I think it's time for me to expose myself as the creator of this page. This was one of my first edits, made when I was 10, back before I had an account and when unregistered users could still edit (all IP address contributions were merged into "Spam User" in 2014).
While I am proud (and somewhat surprised) that this page has survived for so long, I knew that its days were numbered. I have been waiting several years to see when someone would finally notice that the term was never used anywhere else, because I did, in fact, make the term up myself.
