An XOR-extendable spaceship is a spaceship driven by copies of linear replicators that reproduce according to the one-dimensional XOR-based parity rule Wolfram Rule 90. This class of spaceships was first constructed in HighLife, where the first example moves at c/69 with over 84 billion replicator units and was named Basilisk.[1][2] Similar spaceships at different speeds have since been found in various rules.
