Traffic stop is a small catalyst found by cvojan on December 14, 2021.[1] When certain objects hit the catalyst in the correct way, a blinker turns into a block, and the entire three quarters traffic light constellation turns into a phi spark. The fishhook turns it back into a traffic light and then eats one of the four blinkers, making it the original three quarters traffic light again.
Its recovery time is 36 ticks, and it only works at even periods due to the blinkers. However, odd-period sparkers (e.g. 104P9) can still be used with it.[2] This is higher than the odd traffic stop's recovery time of 31 ticks. One use of traffic stop in fewer ticks than the recovery time is seen in the p34 dependent reflector.
