Period-22 glider gun is a true period 22 gun discovered by David Eppstein on August 27, 2000. It uses two copies of the period-22 oscillator, 36P22, and was in fact found later on the same day as that oscillator. It is one of a relatively small number of known true period guns below period 78, where syringe-based guns become possible.
