Karel's p28 is a period-28 oscillator discovered by Karel Suhajda on June 12, 2007.[1] Other than sharing blocks, two of these oscillators can interact at two ships.
The first known semi-natural appearance of this oscillator was in December 2014, in a symmetric soup found by Dongook Lee using apgsearch.[2]
A 46-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found by Jeremy Tan on January 5, 2020.[3]
