Fumarole on Rich's p16 is a period-80 oscillator that is composed of a fumarole and Rich's p16. Although it is composed of two oscillators of smaller periods (5 and 16 respectively), it is considered non-trivial because it contains a single cell that is alive in one generation and dead in the other 79 phases of the oscillator. In terms of its 52 cells, it was the smallest known non-trivial period 80 oscillator until the discovery of Fumarole on Rob's p16 in 2020.
