Trans-block and long hook eating tub is a period 3 oscillator. The cis- version of this pattern is more commonly known as the Candlefrobra.
Commonness
Trans-block and long hook eating tub is about the fortieth most common naturally-occurring oscillator in Achim Flammenkamp's census, being less common than fore and back and 21P2, about as common as the trans-beacon down and long hook, and more common than the caterer and the griddle and beehive.[1] On Catagolue, it is the third most common period 3 oscillator, being less common than jam.[2]
