Talk:Traffic lights extruder

This pattern does not look "better" unless it is much bigger than it was pre-infobox, too big to be shown regardless. This is true for all such large patterns. Book (talk) 21:09, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

• The pattern does not fit well in the infobox -- the infobox becomes too wide and clumsy. I think putting viewers in the main part of the page is better - that gives more flexibility in describing/explaining the patterns, showing more than one pattern/showing parts of the pattern, explaining details, etc. It is impossible to fully "standardize" presentation of patterns because patterns are different and are related to each other in different ways. The same applies re: Talk:Spiral growth. Also, it may be better to continue the discussion at LifeWiki:Tiki bar#Attempting to show huge patterns in infoboxes, instead of repeating basically the same points on talk pages of patterns.
