Candelabra is a period-3 oscillator that was found by Charles Trawick in 1971.[1][2] It uses tubs as induction coils and it can easily be extended, as shown below.

Glider syntheses for several variants of this oscillator were found by Mark Niemiec and Martin Grant in 2015 and 2016.[3][4][5][6] A 19-glider synthesis for the canonical version of this oscillator, featuring tubs as stabilization, was found by GUYTU6J on March 5, 2020.[7]
