Blom is a methuselah with a lifespan of 23314 generations that was found by Dean Hickerson in July 2002. It stabilizes with 2740 cells. The left half is a three generation predecessor of generation one of the B-heptomino while the right half is a 4 generation predecessor of the Stairstep hexomino.
