68P16 (or p16 wing hassler) is a period-16 oscillator discovered by carybe in a symmetric soup on October 22, 2018 using apgsearch. It consists of eight blocks hassling four wings and four blocks, and produces useful sparks.
A 42-glider synthesis for this oscillator was found by Mark Niemiec on November 2,[1] which was improved to 39 by 2718281828 later that day.[2]
