EDIT 2: Periods 1056 and 1632 are definitely possible as LCMs (88, 96) (34, 96). Running apgsearch in D4_+2 to find symmetric patterns.
EDIT 3: Having trouble running apgsearch, seems to have difficulty getting started.

I've tried finding faster ships, but all results have come up negative, including any C/4s in a 40x40 box. I'm not sure if C/5 is the speed limit definitively, but it seems likely. If anyone would be able to prove or disprove that, I'd be interested to see.
