Not yet. Since I only have that DB and no helix compiling program (yet) I used just some simple SQL and a lot of cut, paste and puzzle.

It is quite probable, that two initial tracks won't suffice, because there has to be a mechanism for adjusting track periods and it cannot be done as easy as in the caterpillar because of sideways gliders that Herschels emit compared to clean pies travelling along blinker tracks.
I have not tried yet to design trails and tracks ...
But yes - the fact that we have no rakeless version of the base reaction might be a problem.
Maybe we could place two trails so close to each other that two base reactions interfer in just the right ways ...

BTW: If I am not mistaken, the LWSS and the MWSS could be split in to easy reactions ...

And gen 49 of LWSS is just block+2gl.
And if I'm not blind the first part is not interacting with the second part of the salvo ...
As for the slow rakes: the filtering trick of the caterpillar might prove hard to duplicate for us.
They use a forward 6x ss-stream to send back a 6x period glider stream the kills every 6th MWSS in an backward stream.
They only need TWO of theese for the whole ship!
This won't work whith our ship, though.
We can't use *WSS because they travel in the wrong direction.
If I get my geometry right, all we can use is gliders (or other (1,1)/2 ships).
And as far as I know you can only use a glider to filter gilders if you let *both* of them die.
Maybe there is a single glider ./. glider flotilla collision that kills the single glider but does not harm the flotilla
