A brief summary:
Whichlife is an apgsearchable life-like rule which I selected for its lifelike feel, or, as I put it:
Later, testiemqlstudop found this oscillator with the impressive apgcode xp34_69996269996I wrote:It’s rather life-y, it doesn’t feel too easy, but it supports the G. It also supports the same small SLs and the blinker, but it still has a little different feel— there’s the occasional weird thing:
[soup]
Personally, I like the feel of this rule— soups are surprisingly similar to life soups, save that:
There’s a lack of TLs (probably the most obvious problem)
Less gliders are emitted
Patterns don’t usually last as long (not very noticeable at all to me though, until I run that soup in life)
There are weird things.
Code: Select all
x = 11, y = 4, rule = B2in3aeijn/S234e
b3o3b3o$o3b3o3bo$o3bobo3bo$b3o3b3o!
Soon, I had synthesized it...
Code: Select all
x = 37, y = 39, rule = B2in3aeijn/S234e
35bo$34bo$34b3o23$6bobo$7b2o$7bo2$5b3o$5bo$6bo3$2bo$obo$b2o3bo$5b2o$5b
obo!
Code: Select all
x = 28, y = 13, rule = B2in3aeijn/S234e
25b2o$24bo2bo$25bobo$26bo$b2o$o2bo$obo$bo3$4b3o14b3o$4bobo14bobo$4bobo
14bobo!
The ruleprobably supports conduits.
Anybody up to use ntzfind?
