Here is the list of
entries for the competition:
- #01 Adjustable slope ships (by AforAmpere)
- #02 RROs in various rules (by 2718281828)

- #04 Other adjustable ships (by Luka Okanishi, muzik, Arie Paap, 2718281828 and AforAmpere)
- #05 Record slowest ships (by LittlePeng9 and AforAmpere)
- #06 Hype (B2-ac3aei4ae6i8/S23-ejq8): a rule which contains a very large variety of high-period oscillators, has been heavily apgsearched (the third most of any non-totalistic rule) and has been proven omniperiodic.
- #07 Suns (B2ei3aeij4cjt5ky6ei/S1c2ace3jkn4aeijktw5ekry6in7e): a rule featuring complicated hassling mechanisms of a high-period oscillator, which has also been proven omniperiodic.
- #08 ATPP (B3-ckq4z/S2-c3-a4iq5k6k): a rule featuring unusual failed-replicator spaceships, actual replicators, many linear and quadratic growths and even a large, engineered spaceship by toroidalet.
- #09 Arrow (B3-jkn4a/S1e2-a3ijnry4n): a rule featuring a family of adjustable rakes and a large variety of shuttles and rake interactions.
- #10 Emitters (B2i3ai4cei5c6c7/S2-ae3acein4-t5-aq6cei7c8): a rule featuring a very large variety of small high-period oscillators and guns.
- #11 Hive (B3-ry4ckn/S2-in3-cjn4it5aiky6-a7e8): a rule featuring many spaceships and oscillators of strange speeds based on failed replicators.
- #12 Omosso (B2k3acijr4ijqy6i7c/S2aek3ijnqr4it5n): a rule featuring two small, high-period spaceships, a natural RRO, and a large number of distinct OMOSes.
- #13 CA simulating the bf esolang (by M. I. Wright)
- #14 List of 2-cell oscillators for every period up to 102 (by Oscar Cunningham)
- #15 Turing-completeness/universality proofs and Rule-110 unit cells (by Peter Naszvadi, Luka Okanishi and LaundryPizza03)
- #16 JvN loop-based replicator (by fluffykitty and Redstoneboi)
- #17 Exponentially long-lasting methuselahs (by toroidalet): fuse-based methuselahs of which one is known to last for 3.455*10^532 generations, and another has been estimated to last at least 2^2^50 generations.
- #18 8c/9 spaceships (by AforAmpere): the fastest known sub-c spaceships in a two-state isotropic rule without B0.
We will use the same voting system as the POTY 2018 and OCADOTY 2017 competitions:
Vote only for the patterns you like, and give each of them 1, 2, or 3 stars depending on how much you like them. You can vote for your own patterns if you want. Here is an example vote:
#01 *
#02 **
#04 ***
#08 *
The voting will close
two weeks after the creation of this post.
EDIT: Voting is now closed!

* Perhaps I should have mentioned this before the voting thread went up. Then again, I just posted it today, and the 24c/224 one isn't exactly large.

Just wanted to point out that the vote-parsing script may or may not catch those first few votes, so I'd suggest changing them to match the format more precisely (e.g. #01 instead of #1)

I'm entering the votes by hand into a spreadsheet anyway, so I'd count the votes either way. But indeed, dvgrn's script does require a very specific formatting.

Yes, you're right. I was distracted by some IRL business yesterday, but now the voting is officially closed.
