One of my new favourite rules. There's a bunch of spacefillers yet it's still apgsearchable, 'line' agars do weird stuff in soups, D2_+2 looks promising for some giant monolith of a spaceship. It also looks promising for weird Day->Night 'gates', like the one above but stable.

This RLE is weird
It's kinda bugged.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the RLE, rather it seems that LifeViewer behaves differently to Golly with bounded grids. Specifically, the origin cell (0,0) is at the top left in LifeViewer, whereas it is in the center with Golly. It's also quirky that LifeViewer runs the pattern which is actually outside the boundary.

The #CXRLE lines are generated by Golly when saving a pattern to a file. @KittyTac - do you know you don't need to do this in Golly? you can just copy a selection and Golly will put the pattern on the clipboard in RLE format.

LLS treats every cell outside the grid like it was 0', and the command -b makes blank search patterns surrounded by 0s. So LLS "works" for B0 rules in the sense that it continues to work exactly as designed. It's just that this isn't very useful!

At some point I'll definitely add support for using a strobing background instead of the vacuum. But for now the best you can do is to put together your own search patterns by hand. You have to put a ring of 1' s around every other generation. Like this:
