Has it been done with fewer gliders?
I haven't found a previous synthesis although I'm pretty sure one exists.
There are two syntheses listed there, one with 5 gliders which is quite different from yours.
The latest version of the 5S Project contains over 221,000 spaceships. Tabulated pages up to period 160 are available on the LifeWiki.

Bob's stuff is awesome. Man, the LifeWiki is out of date, but we've got so many new syntheses that it's going to be a hassle...

(Just keep telling me if I chase something Bob already improved.)
