Absolutely everything they teach us at school will have some use for us when we grow up, especially if I'm thinking of studying linguistics.
There aren't any people undecided as to what profession they'll go into; you can just ask everyone what they want to go into and only teach them that.

I didn't know that, but how are we ever not going to use our knowledge of mitosis and meiosis in our daily lives?

That's an opinion I'd put outside this thread. At any rate, in-person classes were a lot more convenient.

That is a lie. Not game over.
B2n3-jn/S1c23-y is an interesting rule. It has a replicator, a fake glider, an OMOS and SMOS, a wide variety of oscillators, and some signals. Also this rule is omniperiodic.
