When I try to run "lifeviewer.lua", this error pops up:
Code: Select all
...YouWillNeverKnow\AppData\Local\Temp\gol99F0.tmp\lifeviewer.lua:1780:
overlay error: given file does not exist
stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'ov'
...YouWillNeverKnow\AppData\Local\Temp\gol99F0.tmp\lifeviewer.lua:1780: in function 'createmenu'
...YouWillNeverKnow\AppData\Local\Temp\gol99F0.tmp\lifeviewer.lua:1818: in function 'setupoverlay'
...YouWillNeverKnow\AppData\Local\Temp\gol99F0.tmp\lifeviewer.lua:1839: in function 'main'
[C]: in function 'xpcall'
...YouWillNeverKnow\AppData\Local\Temp\gol99F0.tmp\lifeviewer.lua:2077: in main chunk
I am running Windows 10 Home Version 1903.
EDIT: nvm, figured it out. I tried running it from the .ZIP, which doesn't work. Running it outside of the .ZIP helps.

B2n3-jn/S1c23-y is an interesting rule. It has a replicator, a fake glider, an OMOS and SMOS, a wide variety of oscillators, and some signals. Also this rule is omniperiodic.

How is lifeviewer.lua getting into a temporary folder, exactly? I can get an error similar to this to appear if I copy the text of the script to the clipboard and try
File > Run Clipboard. But if I click on lifeviewer.lua in the
File > Show Files treeview, it seems to run correctly.
