Good job. Perhaps next time I come across the problem of choosing a recipe with right clearance, I need to run the results from constellation-synthesizing scripts in LifeHistory and watch their overall envelops. But what if the recipe is for active patterns?
And the next question is, how to elaborate the casings and yield the version in DRH-oscillators.rle ? I've checked the enormous components_v4.rle; it says that the bi-block can be converted into a boat on block, which can lead to a table on block, a long-bookend on block, or a cap on block (all these are located above the large "COILS" mark). But they seem to be far from a bookend.

I managed to find a constellation that produces the last beacon-on-racetrack isomer when a pi reacts with it, but it can't be put there with a block nor 2G so I'm not sure as to how this can be salvaged.

The more common way this forms seems to be when a pi forms with a beehive already behind it, with this beehive being deleted two ticks after the pi establishes contact, alongside a lot of other weird stuff I haven't been able to deduce since it all happs with random other messy reactions.

There are usually a lot more octohash results than synthesise-patt results, which is not surprising since octohash results are more expensive -- 5G if you're lucky, sometimes 6G or 7G. You can usually skip the octohash search if you find anything via synthesise-patt. Yell for help if you have any trouble running either of those search utilities -- they're both fairly simple to set up.
