It sure looks like the capped version of that should be put under "p94" on the honey farm hasslers page. Does anyone have more information or prior art on this one?

Knock out one glider from the left-side stream instead of the right-side stream, and it will produce two gliders 240 ticks apart -- seems like an unusually high multiplier (x15) except it's not really a multiplier without a semi-Snark hung on the output to make it x30. That definitely doesn't solve the problem of reflecting a p16 glider stream with a p16 reflector, though.

No restrictions other than that the pattern works as an independent p16 glider reflector. This is for the purpose of updating the reflector table on the status page.

After some reflector is found, it would be interesting to see reflectors for all combinations of color and timing.

If you paste the RLE for a gun like this into the "nonmagical box" at the bottom of this Catagolue page, the gun will show up there in a few hours.

There are a lot of missing periods, of course, and most of the high prime period guns that are in the collection are nowhere near being bounding-box optimized.

It's a total judgment call whether any given high composite period gun is compact enough and/or interesting enough that it's worth adding it to the collection. It would be technically possible for somebody with a lot of spare time to upload non-optimized guns for all periods up to 10,000 -- there's a script that could generate boring guns for all of those periods, but that pretty definitely wouldn't improve the gun collection.

It's probably better to add guns gradually -- build compact guns of various periods whenever they happen to be needed, and then add them to Catagolue whenever a given period isn't represented or whenever a new one breaks a record.

The p4110 gun seems plenty interesting enough that it doesn't seem like there'd be any harm in having it represented in Catagolue's collection (EDIT: except that it's actually p4080, as confocaloid describes on the next page of this thread.)
