Again, there isn't really a strict definition. A lot of billiard tables aren't fully enclosed, but are often just oscillators that look "drifty". It's not really worth changing the definition of a billiard table so that all billiard tables fit, or challenging whether something is or is not a billiard table. It's just not such a strict term.

It's not under DRH-oscillators (where you should always look before posting oscillators) but I would assume it's somewhere in jslife.

This all looks like period-2 explorations that have already been done many times by many different people over the last twenty or thirty years.. Here are three articles by Nicolay Beluchenko about how to put these kinds of p2 components together. Before you post anything else along these lines, please at least make sure that it isn't in one of those articles...!

(The "Expand" links in the articles don't work any more, unfortunately, thanks to security concerns with the Java applet. It would be nice if someone could make an updated version of those articles maybe using LifeViewer.)

Pretty much, yes. There are a couple of asymmetric oscillators in jslife's o0004-bil.lif that can be trivially adapted to produce your version:

Unfortunately people gave up trying to maintain a comprehensive collection of low-period oscillators a long time ago. There are just too many of them for that to be an interesting project.

Did you try checking the jslife collection before posting your question?
