We need to make concensus when we use preffixes and when suffixes.

We have to make a list of suffixes. We can't just create suffixes for any meaning we want as we go along. There is a difference between a suffix and a compound word, too. Also, we shouldn't always put words together to make new words. That's not how most languages work. Some word might be meaning-wise the combination of two or more words, but usually it's an entirely different word and not simply a combination of the others.

Yes I certainly don't want to force people to do it and if they don't want to they wouldn't do a good job either. Should we send a PM to them? Please specify "them", I want to recruit good people.

Ask a few people who seem intelligent and not have much jobs. If they once reject, don't even attempt second time with them. You can also ask few randoms and hope they are interested.

I don't see what's wrong with asking moderators. We could send PMs to people and I can also make my signature explaining the project and asking people to come and help.

Edit: Add something to the language. This page doesn't have much about it.

I'll say this again. We need to clearly define all of the phonology, orthography, and phonotactics.
What does the glpyh "c" represent? Is it the voiceless palatal plosive, /c/? The voiceless postalveolar sibilant affricate, /tʃ/, or the voiceless alveolar sibilant affricate, /ts/? What does "sh" represent? The voiceless postalveolar sibilant, /ʃ/, or an aspirated unvoiced sibilant fricative, /sʰ/?

And phonotactics, what consonant clusters should be allowed? I suppose we don't want words that are really hard to pronounce for most people like /ʁʒjənˈʁlwej/.

Also, in the case of "deadly mushroom" we have not even defined adjective order so we don't know if it's "cakcem" or "cemcak". One of them will roughly mean "mushroom of death" and the other "death of a mushroom".

Here's a chart if you want to fill it out. I'm too lazy right now to put all the words so far, so put them in yourselves.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LvRLsb ... sp=sharing

I will not contribute vocabulary until we clearly define the phonology, orthography, and phonotactics of this language.

C and sh should be Ц and Ш in Serbian, not 100% sure what IPA sounds exactly they are,but I think it is partially clear.
Phonology is clear from one my previous comment plus ch.
Orthography too.
Just phonotactics....
Have a good day!

BokaBB
My google machine says that <Ц> represents the sound /ts/, and <Ш> represents /ʂ/. That second sound is pretty rare cross-linguistically, so I propose we change it to /ʃ/ or just eliminate it altogether.

I found this post by you:
viewtopic.php?p=106182#p106182
And I would just like to say that using examples in English is a terrible idea. There are so many dialects and accents and variations that you can never be sure. This is why we use the IPA, so everyone is clear about what a certain sound is.
Like this:
E:as e in elephant
There are 2 letter "e"s in the word "elephant" and both are pronounced differently. For me, the first one is [ɛ] and the second one is [ə].
This post is also a direct contradiction with "sh should be Ш in Serbian", although I suppose allophony is Ok...
Even more problematic is
A:as a in a(article)
It can be pronounced [ə], [ɜ], and [eɪ]

Grammar and word order is still unclear as well.

I have edited the chart to include my guessing of the phonology and the orthography. I am still unsure about the vowels represented by the letters "e" and "a".

What about having the letter "j" represent the sound /j/, so it fits the IPA? I also suggest changing "sh", and "zh" to "sy" ,and "zy" (or "sj" and "zj" if we do replace "y" with "j")

Sh maybe can be the sound you want, while A will be IPA a and E IPA e.
Pv will be allowed from the phonotactics, you decide the rest and oversee what clusters were used.
I think it looks the best with h and y.
I again repeat we Serbs have no sounds that are similar to any high degree and I don't distinguish them well.
This makes this project harder.
Maybe we can make both variants sounds for sh legal?
Please be active.
