The above "ber" discussion...
Ok, that wasn't me. I'm working on the spreadsheet. Did you send a PM?
What PM?

What's so bad about capitalizing?
I said once here. I forgive you this time.

Can anyone create a Pastebin for example that contains the spreadsheet? Because I cannot access it.

And CAN YOU PLEASE STOP MAKING WORDS?
How do I use Pastebin? Sorry I'm not good at this stuff. Maybe you can send a PM to Saka. Also, I don't think we've been making words recently. It seems we're still on phonology.

Me neither. My above post talks about a PM to Saka about Pastebin. Saka made the spreadsheet so I thought they could make it for Pastebin too.

Pastebin just isn't as neat as google drive, but I suppose it's alright if Hunting can't access it without a VPN. However updating both the google drive spreadsheet and the pastebin version every time can be rather tedious -- so either we only choose one, or have both be out of sync which may cause inconvenience and confusion.

I've also fixed a few mistakes in the phoneme table on the google drive, by the way.

Unfortunately it looks like Hunting just has to ask for changes for us to make. I'm also going to add a second consonant table just for w.

You've probably seen it but I have already added /w/ in there.

A few comments on the current phonology.
Now, I don't know if this conlang is supposed to look "natural", as in, look like it could be a real language, but if it does, the phonology is quite odd at its current state. It's not impossible for a natural language to have something like this, but I will propose a few additions:
  • The voiced velar nasal: /ŋ/, this is to go with our set of velar consonants we already have, /k/, /g/, and /x/.
  • The voiceless palato-alveolar fricative: /ʃ/, to go with our voiced palato-alveolar fricative /ʒ/. Now again, it is not impossible for a language to only have the voiced version, but it is rather unusual.
  • Some kind of rhotic: 25% of the world's languages lack rhotics[1]; /r/ and /ɾ/ are the most common rhotics, so probably wanna go for one of those.
BTW; You don't need to write the romanization in brackets (<>) if it is the same as the IPA.

I'm going to add an r into the table but I can't figure out which one is used in English. I think it this:/ɹ̠/. I thought we already had /ʃ/. I can't really hear the difference between /n/ and /ŋ/, but it is in English like /sɪŋ/ (sing) so I'm okay with it.

The one english uses, /ɹ/, is actually quite rare across the world's languages. The most common is /r/ according to Phoible.
If we do agree on /ʃ/, I propose <sh> for the orthography.

Oh, and one more thing, will we have vowel / consonant harmony?

That I'm not so sure about. If we have to choose I say we have consonant harmony. It could give the language a nice sound to it. Will ng be /ŋ/?

I think we use /ɹ/ not /r/, though we can change if you want. The second one is the rolling r.

I actually can't pronounce the rolling r but that's no reason not to change. My progress goes well.
Edit: I think I have done all consonants except for c. Along with the others we need to decide on the sound.

I'm okay with it being /c/, but I'm going to have trouble distinguishing between /k/ and /c/. It sounds like /c/ is softer maybe, but it also kind of sounds like /kj/. I speak Turkish and it apparently has both sounds, but I've never seen anyone distinguish between the two.

I did all the consonants except for c. I am active almost as long as I am awake. I guess I could do the roots and affixes part now.

Feel free to make further progress.
C is either /c/ or /ts/. The solution is probably that that can vary, please propose your ideas.
