This isn't a leaplife topic. I'm getting tired of you appearing in my notifications thinking that you made a random post until I realize it was just a leaplife pattern. Seriously, it would be best to post them in a leaplife thread.

Oh I get it. leaplife advertisements in random posts....
Why didn't I not think of that

I posted them here to see what they are - on mobile no Golly. I know I should have used RLE copy/paste thread but loading any page on conwaylife.com seems to take forever, RLE thread needs to load three pages (Board index, Your posts, RLE thread) while random posts loads one (I have a bookmark).

Why the hell would one subscribe Random posts anyway? One should expect all kinds of posts here.

Advertisement for the (34,7)c/156 caterpillar thread here: https://conwaylife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2286
We are currently looking for collaborators to finish the caterpillar's frontend by solving problems #1, #2 and #3 (see this for context)
dvgrn said that he would take on problem #1 so that leaves us with #2 and #3 to work with.

For problem #3 it would be great to see a 2 LWSS stream reflector that properly reflects NW gliders to NE gliders at the velocity of the caterpillar.
I listed a few examples of proper NW glider to NE glider reflectors but I'm hoping we can find reflectors that consist of only 2 LWSSs per glider reflected and have that reflector travel at the same slope as the XWSS streams posted here.
Puffer Suppressor
Would we be able to know when we know everything there is to know?
How would we know what we don’t know that we don’t know?

The (34,7)c/156 caterpillar is finished!!! You can download it here.

Welcome to Filler Month! The month where I'm too busy to actually contribute, but want to let you guys know I'm still active.

POTY 2020 prediction:

1. Speed Demonoid
2. RCT 17
3. Bandersnatch
4. The new 3c/7 ships
5. Doo-dah (doesn't deserve top 5 imo but it was way more hyped than necessary)
6. All the new spaceship syntheses
7. Silverfish
8. p28 glider gun
Top 4 or 5 are close competition. After #8 it starts to get hazy.

Things that I predict will probably be near the bottom:
  • Small c/5 diagonal puffer
  • 34-bit still life enumeration
  • extensible LOM hasslers
  • universal regulator
  • p5 drifter catalyst
Oscillator discussion is boring me out. I'll return when the cgol community switches to something else.

Incorrect, it is a wick.
That seems more like a dying spark, or maybe a fuse.

Also, what is "g siamese m" and "b siamese p"? They don't seem to be names of patterns.
Are his MCCP calculations correct?
What is Manhattan distance?
Why did he say in his wiki article that the lifespan of the blinker, the block, and the toad is "0"?
Why did he end the hexomino list with ellipsis?
Why did he call the R sequence "Unknown reaction"?

How do I make a stamp collection?
How do I find the ash of some soup?
Should usernames be considered soups?
What does "more blinkers" in his username soup mean?
What is an omniperiodic OCA?
Are "Devore" and "Langhton's Ants" omniperiodic?

How many known periods of toggleable glider guns are there?
What is the difference between "Toggleable gun" and "Switchable gun"?
What is a half-blockade? Can it work as an eater?

Where did his username and avatar come from? The wiki says he's male, but the username and avatar look feminine.
Is he really a Lifenthusiast? He doesn't seem to be interested in Life.
Why are people playing tricks on the thread for trolls?

How should I underline text?
A fuse is something that burns a wick.
Pattern naming conventions applied to letters.
Dunno.
Read Wikipedia.
Because they're already stabilized, so they take no time to stabilize.
Because he did.
because he did.

You make it by pasting related patterns into one pattern.
You run it.
Yes (in general), and no (if your username produces some object of interest, it is not considered natural).
...
Omniperiodic CA is a CA with oscillators of all periods.
Yes(?) and probably no.
Define toggleable. Also no one collects them.
They're the same thing.
It is half of a blockade, and yes for LWSS, no for anything else.

That's offensive.
He is interested, as he post in this forum frequently.
Trivks = Trolls. (Don't quote me on this)

Use the u tag.
Wait, why did he ask so many question about my wiki????

What happened to Trump {Bot}?

I wonder if this is for the thread itself or that's not sarcastic. I hope I'm not disturbing you on one hand, or at least too much. On the other hand, is it bad that I often use «:3» ? It's just kinda in my habits and who knows, some people may like it?
Listen, I'd understand if that wasn't to be to your taste, but maybe you could... Simply keep it for yourself? Or say it a little less harmingly? Not that you hurt me that much but still, it did hit a bit.
Plus, Schiparelliorbust can think what they want of kittens and same for you. Same for everyone anyways, you can have your opinions, but don't have to bring them up. Neither do I. I'll just say that I have some thoughts for myself and will keep them for myself as long as it isn't asked for or at least open to be talked about. Since it's random posts, though, I'll just post this:

I don't like it but I don't know for others (they probably just don't care). If I were to get a post like mine, I wouldn't feel anything at all (well my 13 year old self will be hit).
No I just like to include a post of that word's last time usage before I post and it's just luck that it was used negatively by that person (though the thread he posted it on is the reason why....).

So you like it whenever I use my *emotions* in a bad way instead of talking with just the honest words?

Random stuff:

It is fine, buuut it is just that I don't think it is, mainly because I no longer have much emotions as my 13 year old have. I have a poor choice of making sentences long and with words that has potential of hurting.
