Assuming that this is a simple substitution cipher, the commonness of leg and bleg suggests that either leg corresponds to the or bleg corresponds to ther. The former does not result in any possibilities for b that would make much sense, and the latter didn't get me anywhere either.
Another possibility is to look at the frequency of individual letters. The most common letter is e, so if it corresponded to itself, that would suggest that g might be d so that the last word would end in -ed. However, that doesn't result in any meaning of bl that would make sense considering that bleg is the beginning of the first word of a question. The fact that the enciphered first word of a question starts with ble- and that e is already assumed to correspond to itself suggest that ble corresponds to whe. (Questions can begin with are, but that would mean that g would correspond to space, which is not an option in this case because g must be the last letter of the last word, and does is possible but seems unlikely.) However, this would lead to the string ehe, which is uncommon, so this is probably the wrong path. The next most common character is l, but that doesn't lead to any possibilities for what the question word could be. I could try g, i, or ', but this does nothing to fix the problem that a question is unlikely to start with a word
Of course, so far, I have been assuming that space corresponds to space. However, this is not necessarily the case. Space is more common than e in the English language, so I tried that first. This forces the first word to be is, but that means that both l and g are single-letter words, which is impossible because i is already taken by b. Trying l means that the question begins with a single-letter word, which seems wrong. Having g, l, or ' correspond to space results in a word that seems far too long to be in such a short question.

Of course, this could be another type of cipher, such as autokey or Vigenère, but if this is the case, then it is not worth trying to crack it with such a short length of text.

The ciphertext is so short that frequency analysis loses much of its effectiveness. If I picked two different random letters as a ciphertext, it would be impossible to decrypt, because there are multiple words with two different letters.

Short ciphertexts are difficult to decrypt in general. Frequency analysis was not the only method that I used.

The important part is that you're improving. Any rate of improvement, if sustained, will eventually close any gap. Use the fact that you have already improved to motivate yourself further.
