It seems like it'll be hard but not impossible. This rule has some helpful reactions with gliders, t-ships, and blocks, so those might be useful.

The puffer itself arises from a failed replicator made of two t-ships (FRMOS):

If it helps, here's my (unfinished) collection of reactions:

In addition, the glider-to-T-ship transformation with the block works with most still lives, and most still lives can eat both gliders and T-ships (blocks are used above).

I'm trying to assemble a period multiple of (17,11)c/34 using the following migratory replicator:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 2, rule = B01e2ace34ajy5akq6ci7e/S01e234a5cinq

Various components I've found so far; nothing yet that can completely contain a replicator at the front of an object:

Can anyone corderize this 2782c/95732o puffer into a new speed? I have a version where 2 copies interact, but die off eventually shown here

Code: Select all

Also can someone corderize this 346c/4824o? 2 copy interaction shown below
