It should catch the toad and miss both gliders. Please no one search until I've fixed this.

I tried apgsearching without uploading to Catagolue in V0.54+0.3i and it didn't give any fatal errors, giving an xq4_153 and an xq4_163. V0.54+0.2i also gave an xq4_153 and xq4_163. I think it's safe to run (and really fast).

I've been using wildmyron's
recently published script to find more counterfeit gliders. So far I've found 30, and most of them have not already been posted on this thread. (I've also been using
getallrules.py to optimise the rules, which is something I've noticed that the 5s project hasn't done.)
Here is what is probably the highlight of the current collection, a 3c/266d:
Code: Select all
x = 3, y = 3, rule = B2ekn3aikn4eiqry5q6ac7e/S1c2ek3-jky4kw5acy6c7e
3o$o$bo!
And here is the current full collection:

I was going to say that all gliders in the 5s project should have their rulestring shortened as much as possible, but I decided to leave them in whatever rule is most interesting/whatever rule they were found in.

I don't think that counts.
A variation of my original counterfeit LWSS rule:

A 3ITVN counterfeit glider:
Code: Select all
x = 3, y = 3, rule = 000200-10102-1010-222-11-1
.A$A$3B!
Sadly, the rule is explosive.

I haven't seen it here, and it's just being cross-posted here for recordkeeping purposes.
