I don’t know if Apgsearch works and I believe we will find no ships this way(If ships exist, they must be huge)
Yes, apgsearch works on this rule (somehow!), I've done hauls in each of those symmetries, you can check the catagolue page:
https://catagolue.appspot.com/census/b2 ... 4irw5-c678

Second, here's a small c/3o ship found with a search program

Code: Select all

x = 8, y = 8, rule = B2-ak3-cij4rw5-r678/S2ci3kqy4irw5-c678
6bo$4bobo$6obo$5obo$6obo$obob2o$obo2bobo$6bo!
Some times soup searching for ships will yield a higher-period ship that is larger than conventional spaceship search programs can search for. For example, searching in Diamoeba gave an unexpected wide c/16 ship:
https://catagolue.appspot.com/object/xq ... 35678s5678

Essentially, this is a case of "you never know until you've tried."

Just ignore yujh in serious discussions. He knows nothing and likes to be rude. Plus, I cannot bear his horrible grammar. Just look at this:
I don’t know if Apgsearch works
(hatsya doesn't work also, I don't know why)
this is an apgcode
And then again
1. Your apgsearch version does not affect the search result most of the time;
2. Chaotic growth and quadratic growth crashes apgsearch, this rule does not, false claim;
3. False claim x2

These are useless questions.
Hunting, that's extremely rude.
He knows nothing and likes to be rude
This is false. It's flat-out false. He neither knows nothing nor likes to be rude
Plus, I cannot bear his horrible grammar. Just look at this:
I don’t know if Apgsearch works

For 1) you usually capitalize proper nouns; though that might be wrong it doesn't really fall under poor grammar. And also, this is the internet. Every single user has probably capitalized some words in the wrong places.
2) okay maybe that's poor grammar but this is the Internet. Expect wording mistakes and the like
3) ??? The use of "an" is correct here.
Think of it your self @yujh. Be more experienced before being rude
Again he's not being very rude, certainly not as much as your post.
P. S. ConwayLife.com is an English forum, not all person can understand your Chinglish. I was confused several times reading your posts.
Conwaylife is an English forum so what he's doing--writing with his best English-- is not only acceptable, but preferred.

Please search B3ai/S3a4-cjknt5ainy67, especially on D2_+1. I'd like to find an odd-symmetric spaceship. Known spaceships so far (c/5d, c/8d, 2c/20o)

I'm trying to improve coverage of OT rules in Catagolue and have exhausted all the B3/Sxx rules and found that none of the B38/S[45678] rules have been searched yet. I don't expect any new ones to be found in B38/S[678], so I will list only the remaining 23 rules to search in this rulespace, except for B38/S45678, which is expanding:
  1. B38/S5
  2. B38/S58
  3. B38/S57
  4. B38/S578
  5. B38/S56
  6. B38/SS68
  7. B38/S567
  8. B38/S5678 (I'm doing this one)
  9. B38/S4
  10. B38/S48
  11. B38/S47
  12. B38/S478
  13. B38/S46
  14. B38/S468
  15. B38/S467
  16. B38/S4678
  17. B38/S45
  18. B38/S458
  19. B38/S457
  20. B38/S4578
  21. B38/S456
  22. B38/S4568
  23. B38/S4567 (I'm doing this one as well)

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 3, rule = B3-q4z5y/S234k5j

I request B2n37/S23-q (DryLeapLife), since it throws a tiny c/7 into the mix.

Searching every B3 rule seems to be too daunting for one person, though I have enough ambition to get all the B378 rules. Who wants to do the B36xx/Syy rules?

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 3, rule = B3-q4z5y/S234k5j

B378/S2458 contains at least 5 failedrepships, all of which travel at 5c/36 orthogonal. One of these has period 72.

Code: Select all

x = 84, y = 14, rule = B378/S2458

B378/S2458 contains at least 5 failedrepships, all of which travel at 5c/36 orthogonal. One of these has period 72.

Code: Select all

snip
There is also another failedrepship with a completely different speed, 8c/57 orthogonal:

Code: Select all

x = 16, y = 12, rule = B378/S2458
bobo3bobo$o2bo3bo2bo$o2bo3bo2bo$bobo3bobo5$4bo9bo$3b2o9b2o$3b2o9b2o$4bo9bo!
And a 5c/36 one with period 180, due to a blinker and P-oscillator getting pulled along:

Code: Select all

x = 13, y = 16, rule = B378/S2458
b2o$b2o$o2bo$b2o$b2o$7b6o$b2o4b6o$b2o4b6o$o2bo$b2o$b2o5$3o!
And a 5c/36 failedrep-based puffer:

Code: Select all

x = 12, y = 7, rule = B378/S2458
8b4o$8b4o$4o5b2o$b2o$b2o$b2o$4o!
This seems like a surprisingly interesting rule, did these failedrepships ever get noticed before? They do not work in any other outer-totalistic rule.

B368/S1257 seems to be apgsearchable in C1, unlike B36/S1257 or B368/S12578, though it has nothing of note so far.

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 3, rule = B3-q4z5y/S234k5j

Please apgsearch Pi puffer life (B34c/S234y8)(Warning:may cause lags if your computer is not very fast), Traffic Flow (B2e3aciy4jnw68/S23678) and Hats and Shuttles (B34iqwy/S23-cq).

B2n3/S23-q4c. It is a LeapLife relative that, umm, supports AbhpzTa's bookend hassler without the bookends.
