12-cell predecessor to a gun that shoots p32 spaceships.
Rd blocks are created by spaceship collisions in the center, and then pulled by backrakes.
Code: Select all
x = 79, y = 8, rule = PlusMinus2_004

The pattern you posted is an isolated ship of the gun you describe, which is the first pattern posted
here. Did you mean to post a different pattern (12 cell predecessor)? Inspired by your post, I found this 10 cell predecessor to the gun:
Code: Select all
x = 6, y = 2, rule = PlusMinus2_004

The
5S project (Smallest Spaceships Supporting Specific Speeds) is now maintained by AforAmpere. The latest collection is hosted on
GitHub and contains well over 1,000,000 spaceships.
Semi-active here - recovering from a severe case of
LWTDS.

Here is an ultracompact glider gun in PlusMinus2_004.
