Unusual Gun

An archive, "Hexagonal Grid.zip", containing a collection of patterns for a rule that can be run on a hexagonal grid is here:
http://bprentice.webenet.net/Hexagonal%20Cell/
The collection contains an unusual irregular gun, G005.hxc. An oscillator O004.hxc, with a similar structure, has a period of 4088.
These patterns may be run on my Java Hexagonal Cell simulator which is included in "Hexagonal Cell.zip". This archive contains the Java source code and the executable file HexagonalCell.jar.
"Java Square Cell.html", which is also included in the above directory, briefly tells how to use my Java Square Cell simulator. Hexagonal Cell uses the same user interface as Square Cell. The main difference is that when editing patterns, selected cells are rotated 60 degrees rather than 90 degrees.
