I used wildmyron's new version of searchRule-matchPatt2.py on a different RRO I had found. This popped up as one of the results.

Possibly the non-totalistic version of gfind may work, but I don't trust it is reliable at high velocities.

I found some B3i and B1e agnostic ships, but the only ship I've seen on the forums that is B2a agnostic is that one. They posted that ship somewhere else a while ago, maybe you are remembering that. I may search for some more.

Re: Thread for Non-CA Academic Questions

I think the value for 3 is infinite:

Code: Select all

1

Code: Select all

2 3
3 2

Code: Select all

2 3 3
3 3 2

Code: Select all

2 3 3 3
3 3 3 2
.
.
.
Or maybe I'm not understanding the rules. No matrix contains the previous one.

I was under the impression that TREE(3) was somewhere around the SVO in size, which dwarfs even what fluffykitty said above. Either way, defining a system that reaches TREE(3) with computable functions isn’t trivial.

Luckily the period is (assuming it doesn't grow), at least within 10^1490. The ship seems to always be in a 99x99 square, and it's symmetric. Jokes aside, if this does become or is a ship, maybe we could use some command to reset the coordinate grid if it moves too far? The 0 button does that, but I...

Isn't that kind of against what we are supposed to do? The naming either goes to the discoverer or the community. You are a part of the community, but nobody else really voted on it.
