That is very dangerous. In theory, I could construct a pattern that dies out if and only if some turing machine halts. The 250 rule is needed to ensure that the game is computable.

By the way, spawn is the only area that’s not affected by the beacon-aligning plugin, and the beacon-aligning plugin only affects beacons in the same cluster. Cool plugin you have there!
