Re: Suggested LifeWiki edits
I undid the page move due to opposition (including from bubblegum, who only posted on Discord). The new page now exists at "Eater 1 reaction".

We are not jumping that high. Someone else's post of "3" was already rejected for being too much of a jump.

Many of you aren't submitting your improvements to Catagolue. I updated the spreadsheet that I got from textcensus, checked page 38 and 39, and had to submit about 8 of them.

Re: Thread for your website-related questions
Due to a French language video on YouTube getting a whole bunch of views, the Discord server has seen a massive uptick in joins... but the forum has had no new members from April 11 to 24 (there's been exactly one today). I don't think it's the change in anti-bot question, as the first half of April...

Re: Human-readable alternative to base64-encoded MAP rulestrings?
Unfortunately, there isn't really a compressed way to do it, since base64 is already almost as compressed as you can get, and it's 86 characters. Staying with ASCII, using the 95 printable characters only brings this down from 86 to 78 characters, and all possibilities are used so it can't be compre...

The more comprehensive collection would be the forum scrape in mid-2023, not the previous version of b3s23osc.

Re: Golly 4.3b1
I've changed b3s23osc in my local copy, but not in GitHub yet, to remove some of the hasslers of more common periods to reduce file size. I would estimate that about 50 to 75 were removed. My criteria for removing: Anything pre-"oscillator revolution" (2021) is kept. Larger bounding boxes are more l...

The five-state rule is much closer to Life than the three-state rule. I would say it's not redundant.

RGB332 feels similar to what I described above. You would still want to increment 75 at a time to avoid similar colors next to each other, though.
