Re: Golly 4.3b1

Are these intended? Most of those keys are Windows specific so I'd rather not try to support them, especially because I wouldn't be able to test them (apart from caps lock, my Mac keyboard doesn't have any of those keys). I'm not even sure if wxWidgets can detect some of those key presses. Given th...

the tiny thing: x = 2, y = 1, rule = B1e2-a4k/S134 2o! strength proof: x = 14, y = 1, rule = B1e2-a4k/S134 2o6b2o2b2o! and this was originally found by accident xd This is obviously already in the collection under c orthogonal: x = 2, y = 1, rule = B1e/S1e 2o! x = 8, y = 1, rule = B1e/S1e 4o2b2o!

A much smaller update today, bringing a few new speeds, updates to existing speeds, and classification changes to the 4-copy folder to account for the weird rule-27030 migratory diagonal "annoying replicator". How would I go about filling in gaps in replicator speeds using LLS? I've tried getting EP...

Re: Thread for basic non-CGOL questions

Differential rulegolfing shows that the nine living conditions { B4q, B5n, B5q, B6c, S3k, S4q, S5r, S6e, S8 } are not queried before T = 95, but are queried before T = 110. Toggling some nonempty subset of those conditions might lead to interesting results. Are there programs that can be used to ch...

I've noticed that shrinking particularly large selections causes the dialog box that shows up while waiting to display "Copying selection" rather than something relating to shrinking - is this a fixable minor detail?

Time for another update - I've combed through the discord server for every mention of "rep" for things to include in this release. There's some comically high period examples, slow B2a cases, and more oblique 1D and 2D replicators to enjoy, bringing the file up to 99KB total. Still wondering as to w...
