Hm, this is the only pattern page on the wiki that actually uses the isorulemin and isorulemax parameters in the infobox. :P 77topaz (talk) 04:23, 8 March 2018 (UTC)

Naturally -- I just introduced those, specifically because I wanted to use them on this page, and no other pages have been edited yet to reflect the minimal/maximal isotropic rules supporting the pattern. :P Apple Bottom (talk) 09:05, 8 March 2018 (UTC)

Non-trivial Sir Robin fleet

Somebody should add this http://www.conwaylife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=68422#p68422 pair of interacting Sir Robins (Sirs Robin?) to the Other Spaceships section.

Minstrel 18

Now, I’m biased, because I pointed minstrel 18 out, but: Shouldn’t we be displaying M18, even if it created gaps in the minstrel continuum? We can’t just pretend there are only fifteen Tagalongs, right? Moosey (talk) 17:49, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

M18 is in the RLE already, and in the Minstrel Arithmetic list. Go ahead and change the viewpoint and make it visible if you want... but based on the recent past, I figure the RLE and viewerconfig will have to change again in the next few days or weeks, anyway, if calcyman can come up with another minstrel or two to fill in the gap. Regarding the minstrel arithmetic

Was the goal to produce a bijection between the set of known (2,1)*c/6 objects considered nonequivalent (by Catagolue's object detection) and the set of nonnegative integers, and was there a program implementing this? If such a section were to be brought back (after dvgrn's removal), would it be better to put it in the (2,1)*c/6 article instead of here, and to explain this in any more detail? Are there any known things it doesn't cover, for instance, and how it would have determined, for instance, which spaceship to consider the basis when there exist multiple (ie. supporting either end of a knightwave)? It always seemed a somewhat handwavy explanation to me. DroneBetter (talk) 16:59, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
