Would it be alright with you if I uploaded a slightly zoomed-out version of the image? The one on the page is quite big and pushes most of the pattern image off-screen and looks a little out of place given the low amount of text on the left. Nathaniel 00:32, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Heh, yeah, although it fits fine on my screen I also noticed a little bit after uploading that right after you created the image guidelines, I went and exceeded the recommended size by 50%... so, yes, it would be quite all right, and as much as the spirit of wiki is consensus, you could have gone ahead and done it without asking ;) Anyway, did it myself now, I guess. There is some problem with this page that prevents downloading the files. --Scot Ellison 07:36, 13 July 2011 (CDT)

Extension of Octagon 2

I see that induction coils are needed to remove some cells which makes this P4 instead of P5. And so begins the search for Octagon 6...

Induction coil needed!

(Translation: Do you have Octagon 3?)

It is not an oscillator like octagon 2 and 4.

x = 29, y = 9, rule = B3/S23

Infobox identifiers

Why exactly were the apgcode and Pentadecathlon ID removed from the infobox? (and also the LinkPentadecathlonObject template I added) Ian07 (talk) 19:34, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

Should the diagonal half stabilisation be mentioned here?

There is two eater tails supporting diagonal Octagon 4 half on Catagolue (unnamed and I'm not sure about the name, being that there are other stators also but that are codependent), is that notable enough to mention? (This is the smallest one I have found but this one with stable gutters can be monomerised trivially for a larger one.) DroneBetter (talk) 11:42, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
