Gen 1 image actually glider eating reaction. Kiran (talk) 03:03, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
Funny name! -wwei23 10:52PM 9/30/2015 NY time
Object with same reaction to be mentioned/shown here or in two eaters?
This object contains the reaction present in both, but with an eater on one side and a mutually-stabilised unnamed object on the other. Should it be shown in a LifeViewer embed in a new section in either, and if so, in which? DroneBetter (talk) 23:57, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
Your link is broken; I think the correct link is xp3_y9ca23zy1ok2hb631z0g8o0631z23.[now fixed] I don't think this oscillator should be mentioned in either of two articles. The reason is that the reaction hassled by two eater 1s is different both from the pond (as in Biting off more than they can chew) and from two eaters interacting directly (as in two eaters). Otherwise, one could continue and add e.g. 30P25 on the grounds that it contains "something hassled by two eater 1s", but 30P25 is not relevant here. The same holds for this p3. - The reaction in between the two of them (as far as it is rotationally-symmetrical) is in common with both, however.
- Here is an image, to demonstrate.
- The green and red and cyan parts are to what I refer. (The phases cycle blue-green-red, with blue being the canonical Wechsler phase.) The yellow cell need not be on in the blue iteration, but needs to be on in the green and red to prevent deaths and births. DroneBetter (talk) 00:40, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
