This still life is known to be constructible with 5 gliders.[1] Some known syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[2] A 5-glider synthesis was found and submitted to Catagolue by Carson Cheng[4] in April 2022.[3]

Occurrence

It is the eighth rarest 11-cell still life out of 46.

Claw with tub with tail does not occur in final patterns of collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases.
