28P7.2 is an unnamed period 7 oscillator discovered by Dean Hickerson in 1998. In terms of its 28 cells, it is tied with oscillators burloaferimeter and 28P7.1 as the smallest known period 7 oscillator.^{[1]} In September, 2000 Mark Niemiec and Jason Summers found a 22glider synthesis of this oscillator.^{[2]}
