RLEs, symmetry classes
Tip: MediaWiki ignores single newlines, so you'll need to add another one to get the RLE of a pattern display'd normally on a page. Compare:
x = 4, y = 4, rule = life 2b2o$2bo$obo$2o!
versus:
x = 4, y = 4, rule = life
2b2o$2bo$obo$2o!
Code blocks also work:
x = 4, y = 4, rule = life 2b2o$2bo$obo$2o!
Also, I'd guess you're also reading the forums, but in case not, you may want to check topic out before symmetry-categorizing oscillators…
