Did you forget to attach a pattern?

Is this an entirely new spaceship, or just something that uses the torus bounded grid feature?

Either you tried to post and see if the object you speak of is known and forgot to attach the pattern, or you're wondering if a 7c/40 toroidal spacehip is known at all? As for the latter, I'm not too sure, and toroidal spaceships don't seem to be a widely studied area.

Trivially, one caterloopillar of the necessary speed, placed on a torus will suffice. But that's probably not what you meant.

If you need to, you could probably interleave the outputs of a few 7c/40 caterloopillar-based rakes to get a pseudo-p40 glider rake, and use these rakes to support either end of the cylindrical replicator to yield an extensible 7c/40 messy puffer.
