Prevent computer from sleeping

Post by cordership3 » February 11th, 2018, 9:29 pm

I've been trying to run some apgsearch recently, however, when I lock my computer and keep apgsearch running, my computer then falls asleep and no progress is made. This isn't apgsearch-specific either, I've been running some other programs with the same problem. Is there a setting I can change to prevent this from happening? I am running apgsearch on Windows 10.

(Sorry if I posted in the wrong place, I just didn't know where to put this.)

Oddly enough, having JLS actively searching works as well, without having to change your settings. (It at least works for me.)

The weird thing is that apgsearch used to run continuously, but then my computer fell asleep until I manually changed the settings. Also, apgsearch still occasionally stops running at random times now, just abruptly stopping. (I have a strange feeling that it stops whenever the lock-screen wallpaper changes...)

Hmm... Maybe that's why it randomly stops on mine too. I thought that was just intended

Actually, disregard my last comment; it probably doesn't have anything to do with the lock screen wallpaper.
