Hey guys, I was shooting some gliders at one of the breeder scripts that come with the Golly install, and I have managed to create a spaceship (speed c/2 orthogonal) that shoots gliders at a rapid rate, maybe 1.5x-2x as fast as a Gosper gun. Anyone know if this or something like this has been discovered? Whether it has or it hasn't, can anyone classify this? I can't remember how to put viewer code in a post, but here's the file.

It's called a rake. Welcome to the forums! I believe this is known though I can't say for sure.
