Math Project with Game of Life

Hi

I will make a math project with the game of life. My first idea was to analyze a quadratic function for to analyze the behavior of some oscillators, but still thinking, I want to make some kind of a correlation. Did you have any idea in which aspect I can apply it?

This isn't quite specific enough to give me an idea of what you want to do. How do you think the quadratic function will be related to oscillator behavior, exactly?
